At 48 Prospect Street, Lodge 1097 has been a cornerstone of Middletown life for generations. The building itself tells you something the moment you walk in: a proper banquet hall with enough room to host a bar mitzvah, a retirement party, or a community fundraiser without anyone feeling cramped. Reviewers consistently call it a lovely space with attentive service, and that reputation didn't happen by accident.

The lodge runs on real community energy. Every Tuesday, the Bingo Night draws a loyal crowd. Doors open at 4:30 PM, card sales begin at 5:00 PM, and the games kick off at 6:30 PM sharp. The staff knows the regulars by name, the kitchen keeps the food coming, and the seats fill up fast. If you haven't been on a Tuesday yet, you're missing one of Middletown's most reliably good evenings out.

Beyond Bingo, Elks Lodge 1097 carries the national mission of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks: supporting veterans, funding youth scholarships, and strengthening the local fabric of Orange County, New York. Members don't just belong to a club. They join something that has outlasted trends and kept showing up for this community year after year.

What We Offer

The lodge offers two distinct experiences under one roof. For private events, the banquet hall seats a crowd comfortably and comes with capable staff who handle service with care. Past guests have hosted milestone celebrations, religious ceremonies, and organizational gatherings here, consistently rating the experience 4.5 out of 5 stars across dozens of reviews.

For regular visitors, the weekly Tuesday Bingo is the anchor event, but the lodge calendar runs deeper than one night a week. Members gain access to the bar, the kitchen, and a roster of fraternal activities tied to the Elks' national programs, including veteran outreach and youth initiatives that put dollars back into Orange County families.

Membership in Lodge 1097 also connects you to the broader B.P.O. Elks network, one of the largest and longest-running fraternal organizations in the United States. Whether you're exploring membership or booking the hall for your next event, the lodge at Prospect Street is ready to put its reputation to work for you.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
